Studio and Lifestyle Family Photographers-Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, Cheshire

This beautiful family were bought a voucher for a Maternity Photography shoot and Newborn Photography shoot as a gift for the mum-to-be’s Baby Shower. Mum Sophie contacted us to say that she wanted to book in her session slightly earlier than normal because she had a feeling the baby was going to be early. Sophie was so busy tying up lose ends at work before starting her maternity leave that the earliest we could book it in was a month before her due date. (Can you guess where this story is going??)

Anyway, Sophie had some great ideas about exactly what she wanted for her maternity photo-shoot. Sophie and her husband had had their engagement photographs taken at Alderley Edge Woods, Cheshire and so Sophie suggested there as the venue! It’s always great working with clients that have lots of ideas so that we can incorporate their style with our own, so we were all very excited about the upcoming Maternity Photography session. To make things better the weather forecast for the session was also set to be a beautiful day in September so everything was on track for a successful session that would ensure Sophie and her husband Andy had some beautiful photographs of Sophie carrying their soon-to-be-born child. 

​On the morning of the Maternity Photography shoot I received an email from Sophie to say that her waters had broken the previous evening and she would therefore have to cancel. So disappointing, but then so exciting that baby was on its way!

Baby Reuben was born 6lb 0.5oz. What a beautiful name for a beautiful baby boy. Sophie and Andy brought Reuben in to the studio at 3 weeks old and again for a Family Lifestyle Photography session a few weeks later. We love the results and can’t help thinking what a beautiful family they are!!
